On January 2009 we finally published a book "Voices of Media Culture: Theories and Practices" which delineates the work Balsas.cc was doing since 2005. The 296 pages book for the first time in Lithuania presents media theories and practices all together. You can find Lithuanian authors’ and internationally known theorists’ (Geert Lovink, Lev Manovich, Frank Hartmann, Eric Kluitenberg and Hartmut Winkler) texts on media and communication theories, which are followed by the most compelling texts, interviews and artists’ projects from the Balsas.cc archive. The later material is mostly concentrated on local media culture & art scene. The book has also appendix in English which you can download and read in PDF. The book is being distributed in bookshops in Lithuania.
